Kitchen Craft is a subsidiary of MasterBrand Cabinets Inc., an industry leader and primary brand in the manufacturing of versatile and quality semi-custom cabinetry. Founded in 1971, Kitchen Craft employs 1200 employees and participates strongly in the new construction markets with production home builders. As part of the MasterBrand family, Kitchen Craft takes great pride in being the #1 Kitchen and Bath Cabinet manufacturer in North America. Kitchen Craft is committed to providing employees with a safe and clean workplace and believes in serving customers with products that exceed their expectations.

Kitchen Craft has been actively implementing Corporate Health and Safety Policies and Programs, working on corporate requirements in alignment with the SAFE Work Certification requirements.  Right from the beginning, Kitchen Craft partnered with Made Safe and took advantage of the many services provided through membership. For Kitchen Craft, the exciting part of their certification journey was to set a common goal which the entire team could celebrate and use to keep safety as a top priority. It also correlated with Kitchen Craft’s internal messaging: Always Aware.

One of the challenges was to recognize that they were ready for the audit and to understand that certification isn’t a measure of perfection. Made Safe provided the little nudge and support needed to commit to an audit date.  Gaining certification has given Kitchen Craft the opportunity to continuously improve safety across all levels of the organization.

Kitchen Craft is extremely proud of associates and leaders for their combined efforts to become SAFE Work Certified.  This certification is one way to let customers, future customers, prospective associates, and current associates know Kitchen Craft cares for the well-being of all.
