Machine guarding saves lives

To guard or not to guard? The question asked so often in manufacturing.

Manufacturing is full of complex tools and equipment that create amazing products we use in our daily lives. Unfortunately, these tools and equipment have many hazards, which can hurt or kill those who operate them. Hazards range from a pinch point to dismemberment to electrocution.

With the advancement of technology, each and every hazard can be reduced or eliminated with proper guarding.

Guarding is an integral part of any powered tool or equipment’s safety, but only works when left in place in used in the manner it was designed.

Be a safety champion at your workplace not a statistic. Choose to guard.
